[sny-editorial userid=”362815″]The poor quarterback play from both Geno and Sanchez last night has taken center stage, but it was the decision to put Sanchez into the game late, subsequent injury and then Rex Ryan’s interaction with an already Ifrothingovercadre of reporters that could upstage it in the next day.

Rex fell on his sword towards the beginning of the press conference, per Dennis Waszak of the AP, but might have considered the matter addressed.

“I understand being second-guessed when an injury happens,” Ryan said. “Certainly I understand that. But that’s football.”

Ryan got testy when asked if it might be considered irresponsible to put a player who would likely be the starting quarterback in the game with players who might not even make the roster.
